Lady in the Garden
Happy Friday! This Lady in the Garden appeared in my sketchbook the other day. Mixed media - watercolor, colored pencil, pen and marker. She's not perfect, lol, but it was an enjoyable way to spend an evening on the couch!
Hope you have a fun and creative weekend!

ReplyDeleteThank you Faye! I do find this relaxing to do in the evenings.

Thanks sirkkis :)
DeleteYou are a very talented illustrator!!!
ReplyDeleteAw Valerie that's so sweet of you to say!
DeleteShe looks as if she's living between the plants :-) I like the expression on her face: very contemplative. And the colours are gorgeous....
ReplyDeleteThank you denthe!
DeleteOh she's sweet! I love her red hair and green eyes and the red accents around her!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lisa. It was fun to do.
DeleteShe is lovely. I really like the colors you used. Wonderful
ReplyDeleteThank you Nicole.
DeleteShe's absolutely charming!
ReplyDeleteThanks Irene.
DeleteIt is amazing how sometimes our art will just seem to have a will of it's own. I sometimes look at my work and wonder how did I do that?
ReplyDeleteYou lady in the garden is beautiful and I love all the foliage and flowers.
I hope you have a wonderful creative week ahead.
Thanks Neesie! It's always nice when it just seems to work, isn't it? :)
DeleteI love that she just appeared in your sketchbook! Such bold beautiful colors, like a flower. You left a comment in my blog post that you hate having paint buildup on your hands. I use baby wipes to wipe off my hands as I work. Sometimes I will use it after it dries in my art work. Just a suggestion.
ReplyDeleteThanks Diane - and thanks for the tips about baby wipes. I probably need to try that.
DeleteWow she is deep in thought with so much gorgeous colour surrounding her! There is even movement...just lovely!
