Late to the Party!

Hello to all my Paint Party Friday friends! I am late to the party this week - what can I say? Sometimes you just need a break or things get in the way. And so the best thing to do is take that little break. But better late than never as the saying goes.


I am not sure if this is completed or not. As I type this I am thinking it is not. I am taking the Festive Soul Food class at Community Thrive and this page was started as one of the lessons there from Guadalupe Brizuela Cabal.  I like the figure of the girl - but more needs to be added to complete the lesson.

So she stands as a work in progress for now.  And as another entry for 29 Faces.

And as far as 29 Faces goes - I love doing the faces but posting daily is a bit difficult for me, so I plan to just keep posting as I can for now.  ;)

    I love how vibrant all your work is...that's what always draws me in!! I like her a lot but I think she is rather annoyed for some reason!! I love dark black lines in art work with loads of colour...it's one of my favorite things!! She looks finished to me!! Glad you showed up to the party!!
